When I was living in China I was perplexed by the number of KTVs and barber shops on almost every corner. Most of the barber shops were lit with only a single red light bulb and I thought it would be impossible to get a haircut in there. I guess I was pretty naive about just how wild it can get in these places. I have heard about BDSM shows in Shanghai.
